3 killed after Google Maps leads their car to unfinished flyover in UP

Three people died after their car, with the help of Google Maps, plied off an incomplete flyover in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. The car fell into the Ramganga River that proved fatal. The incident raised issues concerning the lack of safety measures around incomplete infrastructure work. Families call for the authorities’s accountability in case they have ignored proper barriers. Another related issue also arises with GPS navigation in which it might not provide proper directions in places that don’t have updated infra data.
