Air India Flight Stranding Passengers Stuck for Days in Phuket
More than 100 passengers were left in limbo for four days when an Air India flight carrying them from Phuket to Delhi developed technical problems one after another. The flight, scheduled from Phuket to Delhi on November 16, was delayed several times and canceled with passengers being boarded and deboarded several times. Despite being assuring Air India, the same aircraft developed recurrent faults rendering the passengers to stay stranded. The airline promised hotel accommodations, meals, and refunds but received criticism for having communicated poorly. Many elderly passengers and families were frustrated with the long wait they faced on the ground.
