India’s U19 women’s cricket team yet again proved its dominance by clinching its second successive ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup title, winning the final against South Africa by nine wickets on February 2, 2025, in Kuala Lumpur.

South Africa were bowled over for just 82 runs. Gongadi Trisha had put up an inspired spell to capture three wickets for 15 runs. It was not surprising that Parunika Sisodia and Aayushi Shukla have taken two each to hold down the batting of South Africa as well.
