Six big schools in Delhi received bomb threat emails on Wednesday, a day after a similar email. According to authorities, it is the second incident of its kind this week. The email sent at an early morning hour left all the students and the staff in the school out immediately.
Bomb disposal squads and police teams were deployed to the affected schools to search them. No explosives were found in the inspection, but the situation has brought up major concerns about safety and security measures in educational institutions.
The police are trying to trace the source of the emails and suspect it to be the handiwork of miscreants trying to spread panic. Cybercrime units are tracing the source of the threats.
