Aman Jaiswal, a 23-year-old television actor, died after he met with a tragic accident on the Western Express Highway on Thursday. He was a victim of a truck that smashed his motorcycle from behind while the latter was plying on the highway, the police said.

The incident occurred near Goregaon, where Jaiswal was reportedly returning home after a shoot. Eyewitnesses stated that the truck driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with Jaiswal’s bike, as a result of which he sustained severe injuries. However, before the youth actor could even be rushed to the nearest hospital, he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The truck driver has been taken into custody, and a case of reckless driving has been filed. Further investigation is in process to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
